According to the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Egypt, Egypt’s non-oil exports rise by 14.3% in seven months.
Imports increased by 15.28% reaching $38.156bn compared to $33.97bn in the same period last year.
The statement added that the exchange rate of non-oil commodities rose during the period from January to July of this year by 15.01% compared to the same period in 2017.
Trade exchange between Egypt and the world in that period reached $53.48bn compared to $46.122bn in the same period last year.
The volume of trade between Egypt and the United States of America for non-oil goods increased during the period by 29.2% reaching $3.822bn compared to $2.9856bn in 2017.
The rates of trade exchange with African countries, excluding Arab countries, in the first seven months of 2018 increased by 24.8% recording $1.477bn compared to $1.159bn in the same period of 2017.
