Néo Motors, Morocco's first entirely domestic car manufacturer, celebrated a major milestone on Friday with the inauguration of its first showroom in Rabat.
This momentous occasion, following the unveiling of the "Neo" model to King Mohammed VI in May 2023, was marked by the symbolic handover of keys to ten eager customers, becoming the proud owners of the first Neo Motors vehicles designed and built entirely within Morocco.
The Rabat showroom takes center stage for the brand's debut model, meticulously crafted to cater to the specific needs of the Moroccan market.
This car seamlessly blends performance, safety features, and eco-friendliness, paving the way for a future lineup that includes electric vehicles and solidifying Neo Motors' commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility solutions.
In an interview with Moroccan press agency (MAP), Nassim Belkhayat, founder and CEO of Neo Motors, declared that "the opening of this first Neo Motors showroom represents the culmination of a dream."
Belkhayat further expressed his elation at presenting Neo Motors vehicles to customers who can now experience the thrill of a test drive, get behind the wheel of their own Neo Motors car, and place orders directly at the showroom.
Highlighting the company's ambitious plans for national expansion, he revealed the upcoming launch of roughly 15 additional showrooms across the Kingdom.
"This location was envisioned four years ago, even before the factory's construction and the prototype's design phase began. Our unwavering goal was to raise the Moroccan flag high with the nation's very first car brand," he remarked.
