Société nationale d’assurance (SAA) generated a turnover of 38 billion Algerian dinars (DA) in the 2025 fiscal year, marking a 15.7% year-on-year increase against 2024.
“Driven by this solid performance, SAA has cemented its status as the national market leader with a 22.8% market share,” said CEO Youcef Benmicia on the sidelines of a triple ISO certification award ceremony held on Tuesday. He noted that the company’s financial statements were ratified at its annual general meeting last Monday.
A Highly Satisfactory Outcome
Benmicia described the financial results as “highly satisfactory”. He disclosed that the firm posted a net profit of 3.3 billion DA, matching the figure recorded in the prior fiscal year.
Benmicia further stated: “All core financial metrics remain strong. Our market share continues to expand, the company maintains sound financial standing, and our financial holdings and investments have also achieved remarkable growth.”
Senior executives of the state-owned insurer commented: “2025 was an exceptionally positive year, delivering an encouraging signal for the 2026 fiscal year, for which the outlook is equally promising.”
