Luanda — At least 860 locally manufactured products, especially food produced in various regions of the country, are bearing the "Made in Angola" label issued by the Ministry of Economy since the programme was launched in 2102.
This was announced on Tuesday by the coordinator of the "Made in Angola" programme, Ana Celeste, who noted that the initiative is now involving 90 associated companies, including micro, small and medium enterprises, seeking to reach 100 companies by the end of 2016.
The Made in Angola programme was officially launched on May 18, 2012 and is part of the Government measures to promote micro, small and medium businesses, entrepreneurship, job and reduce poverty through the promotion of goods and services produced in the country.
