What is SENCON?

Sencon, the international exhibition on the subject of construction, building materials and construction equipment takes place at the Centre International du Commerce Extérieur du Sénegal in Dakar. 120 exhibitors as well as 7000 professional visitors are expected to participate in this important information and communication platform of the industry. 


Apart from building materials, machines and tools in the narrower sense the offer also includes large infrastructure projects, such as road, port and bridge construction as well as land development. Engineering consulting, recycling and purification of groundwater are also topics of the exhibition. 


In a country like Senegal, where the construction sector is an emerging industry the event offers excellent opportunities to exchange ideas, make new contacts and enter new markets. The exhibition center, where the fair is realized is located close to the international airport of Dakar and near the coast.


The SENCON will take place on 4 days from Wednesday, 22. February to Saturday, 25. February 2017 in Dakar.
