In a groundbreaking move, Bank of Africa (BOA) and Royal Air Maroc (RAM) unveiled the “Pay&Fly” program on Wednesday, March 6.
This pioneering initiative introduces three Visa cards - Opale, Gold, and Infinite - promising customers a plethora of exclusive benefits with each transaction, effectively reshaping the banking landscape.
According to a BOA press release, the Pay & Fly program, which represents a remarkable fusion of the aviation and banking industries. It notably allows customers to earn safarifly miles for every transaction over 100 dirhams made with their Bank of Africa card, both within the country and abroad.
These accumulated miles can be seamlessly converted into flight tickets and additional services with Royal Air Maroc or any other member airline of the oneworld alliance, elevating the travel experience for cardholders.
Depending on the chosen card, co-branded card holders additionally stand to benefit from exclusive perks such as welcome miles, expedited airport check-ins (Fast Track), complimentary additional baggage allowances, and access to RAM’s prestigious VIP lounges.
This landmark agreement follows closely on the heels of the recent collaboration between Royal Air Maroc and Visa, a global leader in digital payments.
Announced on February 28, this partnership introduced the first-ever co-branded bank cards in Morocco, boasting a unique loyalty program designed to enhance the travel experience for customers.
The collaboration also includes prominent banks Attijariwafa Bank and Bank of Africa, pointing to a significant stride forward for both the banking and aviation sectors in Morocco.
